Hanzalah ibn Abi Amir (R.A.) was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was known as Ghaseel al-Malaikah (the one washed by the angels). He got married on the night before the Battle of Uhud and was unable to join the battle early. When he heard the call to battle, he went without performing ritual bath after marital relations. He was martyred in the battle, and the angels washed him, a unique honor. His story is a powerful testament to faith, duty, and divine honor. The name is eternally linked to this blessed companion.
