A poor companion from the Muzaynah tribe known by his nickname due to wearing two simple woolen garments (Bijadain). He was eager to fight at Badr but had no mount. The Prophet ﷺ could not provide one, and he wept. He later participated in other battles and was known for his piety and humility. He died during the caliphate of Umar.
